Meet The Team

We are the team behind R-evolution. We celebrate passion, hard work and kindness, and we think our differences are what make us great. We also happen to think we're pretty funny, but you can be the judge of that. Here you can get to know us a little better - inside and outside of work. If you see us around the workshop, feel free to say hi - we are always happy to have a chat!

We would also like to say thank you to our 60+ volunteers and trainees who dedicate their spare time to R-evolution.

Paul CEO

I joined R-evolution because of my passion for community. I love to see people empowered and motivated to improve their lives, wellbeing, health and spaces. R-evolution’s innovative methods of engagement have a huge impact on the people we work with.

Karen Deputy CEO

I joined R-evolution as they hold the same values as me. In my role, I can help employees, volunteers, trainees, trustees, and the wider community in an area I am passionate about.

Tony Projects & Support Manager

I joined R-evolution in 2020. I am responsible for delivering and developing all the charities' Community Cycle Hubs that are based across the region. I am also responsible for building management, Environmental Sustainability and Health & Safety.

Angela Finance Manager

I joined R-evolution to progress my career in accounting in the charity sector. I enjoy being outdoors, travelling through the countryside on either my horse or motorbike. I am married and have three beautiful daughters.

Hanna Projects Manager

My role manages our different sites, cycle projects, and the hardworking team within it. I have watched us expand across the Humber and have loved growing alongside the charity.

Martin Horticulture Project Manager

I deliver City and Guilds Qualifications in horticulture and work with volunteers around the grounds of Normanby Hall. I came to R-evolution so that I can pass on my knowledge and experience to others.

Oliver Cyle Mechanic Training Lead

One with the furniture, I have worked at R-evolution for over 6 years (as of 2023). I run the training and assessments of the mechanics and set up our workshops around the Humber.

Francesca People Development Manager

I have been with R-evolution since returning to the workplace when my twins turned one. I really enjoy being a part of people progressing and achieving their goals.

Neil Events, Bikes & Driving Volunteer

I volunteer for R-evolution because I like to give back to society now that I am retired. I love having face to face contact with the public, educating and enabling them to cycle. Here I am day 5 of a 450 mile Trans Pennine Trail.

Gareth Training Workshop Supervisor

I have a passion for teaching and passing on skills to others. Seeing people progress is the most rewarding thing for me.

Barry Community Engagement Cycle Mechanic

I have been mad about biking since I was a small child. The speed, the freedom and the fun. I think I can encourage anyone to take up cycling!

Pete Events and Cycle Volunteer

I’ve been volunteering since 1993 and enjoy working on bikes so this was a natural progression for me.

Jon Training Workshop Supervisor

Two wheels have always been about fun for me, so spending my days at R-evolution with like minded people is a real pleasure. (If you need a riding buddy I don’t take much persuading!

Jason Cycle Mechanic

I joined R-evolution as a Kickstarter with a passion for bikes. Now I am gaining the mechanical knowledge to match, I am able to help people in my community which is amazing!

Liam Cycle Mechanic

Cycling has been an integral part of my life for the past 10 years, so having the chance to work on and around bikes at Revolution is a really enjoyable opportunity for me.
