Active Towns
We are all about providing opportunities and services to keep people travelling actively, but we just don’t want a short-term fix.
We have been working with East Riding Council and the Active Towns team to deliver cycle training to volunteers so they can run their own sustainable hub in which the community can access cycle services to keep their bikes fit and healthy and can become more independent cyclist themselves by learning things like, ‘how to fix a puncture’ from the volunteer.
We hope to expand this across the Humber so different pockets of communities can enjoy and take advantage of the scheme and cycle confidently and reliably!
